The surrounding area has much to offer in the way of entertainment, quaint shops, flea markets, antiques, amusement parks, Troll Bridge Zoo, Detroit Mountain, Shooting Star Casino, Itaska State Park, horseback riding, indoor water parks, fall color tours, bird watching, several golf course and churches. Local festivals such as Perham Turtle Fest, Vergas Looney Days, Frazee Turkey Days and the Detroit Lakes Water Carnival. There is also a wide variety of eating and drinking establishment in the area. While in Otter Tail County in Minnesota, which has more lakes than any other county in the United States, there is always something to do!
